Soil Shepherd Farm is a small farmer-owned and operated farm that specializes in nutrient-dense mixed vegetables, pastured eggs, and pastured whole chickens. We strive to take the very best care of the earth, our animals, and wildlife to ensure a future for generations to come. 

We offer pastured eggs, pastured broiler chickens, mixed seasonal vegetables, plant starts for home gardeners, and cut flowers.

We use "beyond organic" growing practices, we grow everything from seed in organic soil mix, and use organic fertilizers. Our pastured broilers and egg laying flock are fed certified organic grain.

Our farm is located in Lagrange County, Indiana, on the north side of Big Long Lake, 12 miles north of Kendallville, near the towns of Stroh and South Milford.

Hours of Operation (Year-round)

Our self-serve farmstand open 365 days a year during daylight hours. It is stocked all year with fresh pastured eggs. During the growing season, the farmstand is filled with eggs, fresh produce, whole chickens, cut flowers, and more.
